The American Legion is a service organization founded in 1919. Legionnaires work for the betterment of their communities through more than 14,000 posts and are committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow servicemembers and veterans.
