I’ve been using Font Awesome for some time now, and not just for the web. With it’s flexible base, it’s quite easy to use from your desktop for your graphic designs as well.

Once you’re ready to start designing, it’s as easy as copy and paste. Check out the short video below on how to use Font Awesome in your designs. Keep in mind that while I’m using Photoshop in this example, this method will work with any program you’re using.
Design is one of those things that shouldn’t be limited by the platform that certain tools were designed for. Look at Font Awesome, it was originally designed to allow the use of pictograms online without the hassle of using images, and creatives took that concept to the next level.
